DETOXIFICATION TECHNIQUES

You may experience flu-like symptoms during detoxification because your body is riding itself of poisons. You can get some relief from these symptoms by utilizing the following techniques:

SKIN BRUSHING:
This can be very beneficial because the skin is a primary avenue for detoxification. The lungs, kidneys, liver, and colon also aid with detoxification. Use a vegetable brush, which can be purchased at a health food store. Brush all parts of the body toward the heart and follow with a sesame oil massage, which brings relief. Massage the whole body for five minutes before bathing or showering.

SALT AND SODA BATH:
This bath aids detoxification by counteracting the effects of radiation from sources such as x-ray, cancer treatment, fallout from the atmosphere, television, computers, etc. Add one cup of baking soda and one cup of Epsom salt to a warm or hot tub of water.

VINEGAR BATH:
This is used as a quick way to restore the acid-alkaline balance in the body. Use one cup to two quarts of %100 apple cider vinegar to a warm bath. This helps eliminate excess uric acid in the body and is soothing to joints that suffer from arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, gout and heavy metal toxicity.

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE:
This can be accomplished by 30 minutes of daily walking, bouncing (not jumping) on a mini trampoline, or instruments like the Chi Machine.

ENERGY FOOT BATHS:(EB305)
The EB uses direct current similar to that of the human body to create an ionic field. The patient places their feet in the bioenergetic water to receive the flow of ions, which increases cellular function. Studies have shown that more cellular ATP is produced during treatment, which enhances the cells to work and detoxify at a higher rate.

INFRARED SAUNA:
Infrared therapy stimulates the body in detoxification of heavy metals and lipophilic (fat stored) toxins. It promotes cardiovascular conditioning, weight loss, caloric expenditure, pain relief, and stimulation of the immune system.

PROPER BREATHING REDUCES REACTIONS AND PROMOTES WELLNESS
Breathing is one of the most significant therapies one can employ in the treatment of pain, insomnia, low energy and depression. Under stress people tend to hold their breath. These techniques will help you reduce your stress and improve your oxygenation.

HARA BREATHING:
Nourishes the internal organs giving the body power and endurance. The HARA corresponds to CV6 “ sea of energy “, between the umbilicus and the public bone. When a person concentrates on this point, this allows the abdomen to extend out on inhalation and draws the abdomen in on exhalation. This motion is opposite the way an adult normally breathes; however, it is normal respiration in infancy. This breathing strengthens the entire general condition of the body.

BREATH VISUALIZATION
Utilizes long, deep and rhythmical breathing while we hold mental images of what we wish to accomplish….
